Dr. Lillard is a native Tennessean, born in Nashville and raised in Memphis. He attended Rhodes College and was a cum laude graduate with a degree in Biology. He attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine, where he graduated cum laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his pediatric training at the Children’s Hospital of Alabama and spent an additional year there as Chief Resident of Pediatrics.

His love of the mountains took him to Salt Lake City, UT to begin his career in pediatric practice. He returned to Nashville in 1999 and has practiced here since. Dr. Lillard currently serves as medical director of the Cumberland Pediatric Foundation where he has previously been a board member and President. He has served on the board of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Dr. Lillard is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

After 23 years in private practice, Dr. Lillard is excited to join the team at Pediatric Associates of Franklin and looking forward to building new relationships with patients and their families. He enjoys all aspects of pediatric practice but has a particular interest in asthma and allergies. Dr. Lillard lives in Williamson County with his wife, son and daughter. He enjoys running, travel and is an avid SEC football fan. He often yells “Roll Tide!” in the fall but keeps it muted during LSU week to appease his wife and son.
