Katherine received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2002 where she was a University Honor’s Scholar. After four years of structural design of bridges for both private and public firms she realized her true calling in life while volunteering at the local children’s hospital. In 2009 she returned to the University of Tennessee and received her Master of Science in Nursing where she participated in Sigma Theta Tau, an Honor Society of Nursing.

She is Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. She is also a member of the Middle Tennessee Advanced Practice Nurses Organization. She has over four years’ experience at a rural health clinic in East Tennessee and one year of experience in a Middle Tennessee clinic serving many U.S. military families. Katherine joined Pediatric Associates of Franklin’s clinical team in February of 2016. Her vast experience and knowledge is a wonderful asset to our team.

Katherine, her husband, and son live in Franklin. They enjoy creek wading, geocaching, process/action art projects, and science experiments. She loves to travel with her family and explore museums and is an avid collection of children’s books. She appreciates every day that she can positively empower parents and celebrate the uniqueness of each child for which she cares.
