Dr. Carr is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, where he was a psychology major. He then attended Loyola University in his hometown of Chicago, where he received his medical degree. Dr. Carr completed his residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in June of 1999, and then joined Pediatric Associates of Franklin.
Dr. Carr is board-certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a clinical instructor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Carr is also a member of the Tennessee Medical Association, the Williamson County Medical Society and the Cumberland Pediatric Foundation. Dr. Carr is married and has two sons and a daughter.
