John W. Chambers, Jr., M.D., F.A.A.P., Partner

Dr. Chambers graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, TN, his hometown, with majors in biology and chemistry. He then attended the University of Tennessee at Memphis, where he received his medical degree. Dr. Chambers completed his residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in June of 1998. He subsequently joined Pediatric Associates of Franklin immediately following his residency.

Dr. Chambers is board-certified in pediatrics, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a clinical instructor at Vanderbilt School of Medicine. He is also a member of the Williamson County Medical Society, the Cumberland Pediatric Foundation and the Christian Medical Association.

Dr. Chambers has served as past Chief of Pediatrics at Williamson Medical Center and is currently an active director on the advisory board for Mercy Health Services (formerly the Mercy Children's Clinic in downtown Franklin).

Dr. Chambers has been happily married for over 17 years.  He and his wife are parents of one daughter and two sons and are also foster parents for the Williamson County Department of Children Services.
