Dr. Lyst began practicing at Pediatric Associates of Franklin in April of 2007 to provide psychological services to our patients. Dr. Lyst obtained her doctoral degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her Master’s program in Clinical Psychology and her Specialist Certification in School Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy. She was also the recipient of the Matheny Scholarship awarded to outstanding doctoral applicants at Georgia State University.

Dr. Lyst specializes in evaluation (testing) and diagnosis of ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Dyslexia, and Learning Disabilities. She provides therapy for issues that include Anxiety, Depression, Divorce, School Related Issues, and Social Skills. She is also a registered Play Therapist and provides consultation and advocacy for students with disabilities.

Dr. Lyst is a member of the American Psychological Association, Association for Play Therapy, and the National Association of School Psychologists. She is a Licensed Doctoral Psychologist with the State of Tennessee and Michigan with HSP designation. Dr. Lyst has been in practice since 1996. She lives in Franklin with her husband and two children.
